Halo Online: Russia exclusive PC Halo game?!

That wasn't the alpha, they got Multiplayer working over LAN didn't they? Alpha was delayed a week or two I thought?

from what I saw, it works but there are a plethora of bugs and crashes that occur when you try.

The only crashes and bugs I have encountered are the Evolve servers crashing because the amount of people trying to use their service to play H:O exceeds the players of all the other games through their service combined! xD

I heard that MS C&D'd the modders working on the game. Did they really shut it down?

I dunno, I don't get the hype about this game really much.

What They're doing right now is using a VPN to play basically a Halo 3 mod.

Why not get H2V and use a VPN to play instead? I mean at least that's legal, has more maps and can be played right away.

because h2v is glitchy as all hell and breaks super easily

Between Microsoft and Dennis on HaloMaps, Halo Online is about as dead as the dinosaurs.

Using a VPN like Evolve (what Halo: Online is using now) will fix any issue caused by GFWL. And there have been some community bug fixes for the remaining issues already(like the wonky mouse movement). If the H:O modders can't continue with H:O, they always have the ability to patch H2V even further and even expand the editing kit for even better custom maps(could even port H:O maps if people are that desperate).
Do this and set up VPN parties like in Evolve then we have ourselves something equal to H:O.

Dunno, people are still crashing evolve's servers (myself included) by playing Halo Online, soo....

I'm using Tunngle cuz Ppl were hacking the Evolve servers to inject viruses

H2V wasn't a terrible port, it got stuff like 60 FPS, better texture filtering, the only thing bad in it was the fact that the xbox live service in it sucked *** :/

To me among the bigger problems were acceleration and other lack of mouse control customization. And well, obviously Xbox live. Also, for many bit more hardcore PC gamers 60 fps is not enough.

What Mootjuh is saying sounds really cool, but I think that H2V simply does not have enough hype to be revived. If it however does I'll gladly eat my words and join in the fun. I could almost see myself preferring it over H:O.

But yeah, enjoying Halo Online so far. Waiting for ability to remove acceleration and possibly more optimization fixes before giving my life to it.

EDIT: And oh yeah, lets not forget button glitches.

Mouse acceleration has a fix already, look it up. Force Vsync on the game and you can go 60 FPS or higher.

True :/, if there will be a campaign in PC, can you make a SP map editor? like HEK, but then better :D, and only for SP because MP didn't work (with map sharing)
