well, i've been having loads of fun modding up Fallout 3 lately, and i'm really loving it. testing, seeing how cool the game looks (and how well my game performs with graphic enhancements; flawlessly, might i add ;)), adding harcore mods, ironsight mods, weather mods, no fast travel mods, more enter-able building mods..... ARGH! i love it! also, i am interested when x doesn't seem to work, and all that, for some reason messing around with mods is fun then it usually would for me (but testing is always funner-er (dat english) :D).

mind you, i don't actually make mods (i wouldn't have a clue lol), i simply download, put together (well, mostly with Fallout 3, as you can put a tonne of mods together :D) and play awesome mods.


so, i guess i made this thread to discuss mods and stuff, like which games you have modded, what is your favourite mod, etc.




the games i have some mods on are:
goldsource mods
source engine mods
Cryengine 2 mods
Fallout 3 mods


currently, modding Fallout 3 is so awesome, i have yet to get every mod and get them working together lol, that will take another couple of weeks (and keep me off PlanetSide 2 lol)

Well since no one has posted anything how do install mods on halo ce/2 (preferably texture mods )

Halo CE mods are easy to install, assuming you mean pc. Halo CE CE mods are even easier to install and it comes, of course, with modding tools itself.

And there are a LOT more mods than just texture mods. You'll never forget the first time you see gun shoot scorpion rounds.

My favorite would be editing megalo script in Halo Reach gametypes.
The magic.
Also that's the only kind of mod stuff I know how to do...

It's the scripting engine Reach and 4 use for multiplayer gametypes.
I have played quite a few things other people made in Halo CE, but never got into actually trying to make anything. I mostly liked the campaign stuff.

Halo 1 on pc had the full game, a trial edition, and custom edition released. Halo 2 pc was just the full game with included editing tools. However, most people prefer to mod CE because the editing tools for halo 2 restrict a lot of things people liked about the Custom edition tools. One step forward, two steps backward.

And what would you edit gametypes for? You can already do that in-game. Unless there's a secret I don't know about.

I don't really see why people played the multiplayer on any of the Halo PC versions besides the latest custom edition version. There is no real reason to play the others...

There is quite a bit you can do with gametypes actually. That Halo Chess game had to come from somewhere... Not that I could hope to make something that cool. Haha

I play the trial MP because sometimes I just want to spend somewhere other than this house in the dead of winter and blood gulch is the ideal location. Watcha doin'? Jes passin' time.

To you have Xbox Live? Halo Chess is an entertaining custom game in Reach.

Then why not the actual multiplayer? It has Blood Gulch.

Actually, I don't have Xbox Live. I don't have the second prerequisite- an internet connection.

I get most of my games for PC anyways. I never got around to buying a disk copy of Halo PC (YET. It's on my to-do list.)
