I thought BR was based of Famas... Unless you're talking about Contingency's version, wich I don't have a clue.

The BR isn't possible as its ammo uses an experimental propellant. The MA5's specs are very close to that of the Kel-Tec RFB and looks a bit like the upcoming Desert Tech MDR. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oSZ-jrr4LU4 And good news for the sniper rifle! Since the APFSDS requires a smooth bore, that would technically classify the weapon as a shotgun, thus exempting it from the .50 cal rifle sizing limit! The difficult part is making the ammunition... One does not simply mill tungsten carbide...

If halo guns were to actually be made, they wouldn't be made by civilian agencies unless they were working for military or government projects. So your restrictions are a joke. Also experimental or not, you can still work around it. Also APFSDS can still be rifled, as it'll increase the accuracy of the round regardless

If the only ammo being used is APFSDS, then a smooth bore would be better. The rifling would slow down the sabot considerably (as some of the direct kinetic energy would be turned into rotational), increase friction (therefore heat), and would be somewhat ineffective as the actual sabot itself wouldn't be rifled, that's what the fins are for. :3

The direct kinetic energy being turned to rotational helps it cut through the air. If it wasn't rifled and was bored, it'd press the air and there'd be a significant amount of drag which would thrust it into the ground rather than keep it in the air. It's a tradeoff of speed over range, the latter of which is important for a sniper rifle

Uhm, when you say bored what do you mean? I think we may be thinking of different things.. The rifling of the barrel is to make indentations in the bullet that cause it to spin which counteracts minor defects. If a rifle and round were 100.0% perfect, it wouldn't need rifling. The drag would be the same either way; and if all th other variables are constant, speed = range (to a certain extent).

Something just got a whole lot easier. The rounds used in the Magnum is identical to the .500 Smith & Wesson Magnum. Goodbye to custom ammo for that gun. ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°
Also I may design the shotgun, but I may never produce on the sole reason that it's just a bit too much power. (And by bit I mean possible shoulder surgery.)

.50 SAP-HE Rounds iirc is what the M6D fires. As for the shotgun, it's literally just your common 8 Gauge Buckshot

The SAP-HE part is just a different type of bullet (Like a tracer or armor piercing), but the actual specifications are of a .500 S&W.

Also if you really need to fact check, there's two halo wikis you can look up information on.

Inb4 Ryan comes in here and propogates his "Superior" wiki (I really don't care about either or, I just come for the information, then promptly leave)

Lol, I know that I'm a die hard halo fan compared to ma friends, but with you guys, hell no xD, do you actually play any other game then halo and warframe? :P

Pixel games are our forefathers. We should all not only remember them, but relive them by playing them again once a decade. And don't be quick to judge indie Pixel games, for some have great gameplay and great stories to be told.

Granted, now by Halo weapons, does this mean every style of every series of weapons? Such as the Halo 2 and Halo 3 style Magnums? Or the Halo 2 Anniversary and Halo 5 Guardians SMGs? Sure they have the same functions, but they are still different Weapons.

Not enough people do this and it's quite sad.

The Halo 5 SMG is basically a modified P90.
The pistol will probably be similar the M6C.
The DMR will be more like Reach's.
Shotgun is too powerful for real use.
Assault Rifle would need licensing.
Battle Rifle would need licensing.
SMG would need licensing.
Sniper Rifle is iffy on the legal side; ammunition would be very difficult and expensive to make.

All final products will most likely not look exactly as they are in game, but it is still a main goal.

Making some of the guns is very possible, I'm almost done with the final internals and adjustments of a Yugoslavian SKS that I may make this summer on a CNC. After that's made I'll be able to study it in person, which is much better than reading diagrams.
