Hey all, Jaing here.
I've decided to make this Halo megathread to inform you of the latest details of the upcoming games. Any and all info is welcome and I'll credit you, if necessary. Without further ado, let's get started.

I have also decided to keep a "log" of what updates and such that I've made so that you guys can easily point out any mistake I make.

- Master Chief Collection (MCC):
- Details:
The Master Chief Collection, or MCC for short is an collection of re-mastered Halo games to be released November 11, US, and November 14, EU. It will be console exclusive to the XBOX ONE, and features Halo 1,2,3,4, all re-mastered whilst retaining their original multiplayer modes. The game itself will run at 1080p @60 frames per second, and feature dedicated servers for multiplayer. The game can be bought in 3 versions:
- Normal Version [ Game + Normal Case ]
- Limited Edition [ Game + Prima MP Map Guide + Exclusive "Grunt Funeral" Skull + Steelbook Case ]
- Mjolnir Edition [ Game + Limited Edition Exclusives + 30cm Master Chief Statue. ]
The title will feature all maps from all games, [DLC Included.] including 6 re-made maps for Halo 2.
All editions of the game will include a H5 Guardian beta key.

- Personal Thoughts:
- - BR Reticle is too cluttered.
- Hand is "Straight-Lined", however this is still WIP so that remains to be seen.
- Headshots appear to apply to upper half of upper torso as well as the head.
- @1:27 Headshot through rock.
- Weapons on ground now have 'Holographic' tags. e.g. @2:35 near Red Spartan.
- General "Tinny", "Boxy" sounds that I absolutely hate, they don't sound like Halo at all.
- HUD now fizzles slightly after teleporting.
- Map location is now more pronounced.
- The HUD overlay is perfect, especially the ghost armor.
- BR Reticule when zoomed, shrinks. Get rid of it.
- Kill feed should have cause of death.
- Medal feed is perfectly positioned.
- I dislike how the weapon pickup prompt enlarges/shrink as you approach/leave.
- I cringe at the SR's reticle bloom.
- What are weapon sets? Are they like restricted loadouts? i.e. Primary Weapon loadouts?
- Grenades seem to be thrown weaker
- Assault Rifle confirmed for H2A! Check @6:37 of extended gamelplay.

If only the MJOLNIR and limited editions included the game... I don't want the exclusives...
It's sad they made box art for MCC but apparently they aren't going to ship it in a case.

if they make a Halo MCC/xbox one bundle
well then day 1 purchase if not then Ill wait till next year for halo 5 where there should be a bundle
and at the same time I'll buy MCC collection for 20 or 30$ by that time

Same. I'd pay for a MCC bundle but not an xbox one and a copy of MCC. I have no idea why, certainly not because it would cost more.
