That would be illegal so go ask for it somewhere else or buy your own copy and find methods to copy it directly from the disc. They are out there.

It is illegal to download, share, upload, torrent, and/or discuss the means of otherwise acquiring the games of any modern console/PC. Doing so can result in this site being shut down and Cease and Desisted by Microsoft.

The reason nobody would likely worry about an old Nintendo console bios being posted is because (not sure on this), defunct and otherwise abandoned hardware and games fall into a legal gray area. This stems from the idea that since neither the console or the games are being manufactured any longer, the act of downloading and emulating them could be seen as a form of "archival" or backing up the data in the event that the hardware fails. This also implies that you actually own whatever it is you're backing up.

In any circumstance it is still illegal, so please refrain from discussing how/where to acquire roms/isos and other files directly related.


On the topic of emulation, back when I got my PC, I bought a DVD drive that was specifically able to read and rip my old Gamecube games since my actual one broke :(

I wonder if Xbox 360 emulators will ever be able to sign in with your Gamertag and still play with other people :O That would be sooo awesome, since I don't plan on buying another (would be my... 5th I believe?) damn 360 and the DVD drive on my current one busted >_< The joke of it is, Halo: Reach is what broke it. Exploded (literally) in the drive.

My old 20th century CD rom used to break discs but not the lens ones though

Over an extended amount of time and usage, plastic discs can develop micro fractures leading to full on cracks. Failure to notice this and stop using it can lead to discs experiencing centrifugal forces too great, causing the disc to shatter and damage the drive.

That's what happens when you play too much Halo: Reach, it explodes into a puff of nothingness and disappears from this universe altogether xD

I played literally 7+ hours per day every day after school from the release until about a year and a half later when it broke ^_^ Reach was some of the funnest Swat! I also used to run with some of the best Swat players in the game. Locking it down on Sword Base, aw man that was good times. Vertical maps like that are so fun, hope P:C has some maps like that.

You put it on a USB and upload to a filesharing site as abandonware? That is how we have been persevering digital items in the internet archive for the past 20 years.
