Sorry for double post but, honestly, if 343 kills off Master Chief there would be even less of a reason to buy Halo 5 and forthcoming Halo games.

I was actually referring to the forerunner tech they stuck on the front because apparently reasons.

Actually no Steve's right. Its an Energy Bayonet based off of forerunner and covenant tech. The Assault Rifle has one too.

Are the bayonets on all assault/battle rifles or are their traditional ones without them too?

I'ts a weapon variant it's a bit more expensive than the default loadout, also there are 20 Variants for each weapon

The scene at 5:14 is just so awesome to me for some reason.
I still don't know how I feel about the AI in this gamemode though.

^^ at 15:08 I was like "I like the distance background fuel rod howling sound, that's actually wicked cool sounding." then the player picks it up and shoots it at 16:05 and it makes that stupid 'pew' sound right as you fire it and I'm like "DAMNIT, IS NOTHING SACRED?"

What I find funny is how the guy in the gamespot video mentions how free you are to choose what to do and that even casual players will have ai to fight, when he mentions spots where he was fighting ai and got attacked by other players. It'll be a choice between try to capture bases, fight other players to get a brief time while they're respawning that you can attack the bosses you guys were fighting over in, or roam around the map killing players and getting sniped from nowhere. Casuals will go after ai, but some contingent of veterans looking for easy kills will wander over to the ai and use them as bait for the newer players.

Feel free to point out anything I missed. In any case, 343 would need to add:
New object physics of some kind
A new class of objects we haven't seen before that isn't buildings, natural scenery like rocks or trees, or basic buidling blocks
New object properties
Granted that wouldn't be hard, but frankly, time of day isn't really a forge addition, it only changes map aesthetics unless you're playing some hardcore night game like insurgency or the supposedly really dark bf4 maps. A great way to shake up forge would be to add in ai, but now wouldn't the average casual player get really confused about adding waypoints and ai spawn states and stuff that they'd ignore it and just play hardcore forger's brilliant singleplayer maps? In fact, with the wealth of community maps ai would bring to forge what incentive would there be to play the campaign?
At this point I don't think there's really anything that can be added to forge aside from a model editor that lets you create your own frigging bsp.

My theory is probably a WINDOWS 10 Forge tool that lets you use M+KB for enhanced controls
Creating Custom Terrain + Time of Day + Texturing Objects could be the MASSIVE evolution that Forge needs!
Also it's worth noting that all the breakout maps where made in Forge!
So there is bound to be a variety in the aesthetics of a map!

I recall that halo 4 did some serious shit with Forge, And Halo 2 Anniversary blew that out of the water with landmasses and lighting updates.

Magnets are definitely pretty cool, and there's no doubt that H2A's landmasses allow a lot more terrain control than forge world ever provided.
