Yeah it kinda sucks they didn't get the hint about the plasma rifle... or the art style... or the power weapons... or the "new" vehicles...

Thing about Warzone, it reminds me of one of my oldest ideas for Halo. Firefight, but with more players, and play as every type of Halo character.

Classic BTB will be in the Arena multiplayer it was confirmed today, Art style? well they have too keep consistency This is their Reclaimer saga lel I agree though the Sniper and countless other things look like crap :P Idk what you mean about Power weapons but the arena multiplayer has all of that balanced :P

I guess once you put your mind to it Halo is a lot like cod in that respect (the later titles more so) especially when I've been trying to get better at counterstrike and playing Halo is much, much easier, with the bullet magnetism and such.

True but let's remember Halo is a Console game of course there is going to be Bullet magnetism and such anyways atleast Halo has variety something for everyone theres Campaign,Arena Multiplayer,Big Multiplayer,Forge,Theater,Custom Games, and fun gamemodes like,Griffball,Infection,Action Sack,SWAT,Breakout.etc not to mention the armor customization system + the overall fun of Social XP and competetive ranking it's fun and that to me is all that matters :P

I hear space battles are supposed to be a thing. One of my older multiplayer ideas are being used before I could...I feel a slight nostalgic feeling now.

Knowing 343 they'll screw it up somehow. "You all get spaceships, except they'll only be like one type, and there'll only be one secondary objective." or even "You all get a few choices of ship, except you can buy the higher quality ones with req cards" or even "Hey we heard you liked the space battles from reach, so we put in a single mission where you get to do that."

Req cards new gamemodes.etc all have been already cleared up? kinda take a look

-6 warzone maps at launch with 6+ more Free DLC later on
-REQ cards will be used to fund HCS and there might be team skins later post launch and you're going to be able to buy/earn REQ packs from certain teams all with cool team skins

-REQ cards also contatin assasinations animations which you can set for your spartan have like a moveset!
-Skins can be used on your starting weapons in Arena and you're purchasable weapons in Warzones
-Spectator mode has been revamped with features like seeing outlines of the teams trough walls.etc
-Right now the voting system is still being finalized but they might land on the Halo 2/H5 beta format where the maps are not voted or vetoed and you just join a match with rotating maps
-Join-in progress is coming back (MCC had this removed)
-In CTF you can drop and pick up the flag like in the earlier halos and you can do an unique Spearing ground pound animation
-Theater might come to Campaign but it hasn't been finalized yet they're still working on it
-Classic BTB will come out a week after the game ship this is so Warzones can be optimized early on
-The pistol now shoots slower but packs a bigger punch
-Weapon animations from the beta have been highly improved
-Gun kick and flinch have been toned down to the point where i'ts non existent
-Vehicles will not use smart link like some people thought
-Dedicated servers will be across all modes including Custom games and Campaign
-MCC is being made by a different team and it will be continued to be supported post Halo 5 launch with new maps content updates.etc
-No off line LAN servers since dedicated servers and the xbox one both restrict that
-Weapon skin trading might be available post launch

Something important to note while REQ cards are purchasable from the store BUT they're kinda easy to obtain
you get 1 every time you level up your SR and you have this sorta REQ XP system where you can earn points across all gamemodes and then use the xp to buy
REQ cards, also the price for the store hasn't been decided yet :P

I bet it will be reminicent of Starwars Battlefront's conquest mode. Players have 3 options: stay inside and defend your ship by accessing terminals to utilize ship defensive cannons or just defend against boarders, Fly about and destroy the enemy ship's pieces (engines, bridge, comms, sensor array, life support, shields, and defenses.), or head inside with a dropship in order to respawn within the enemy ships and destroy them from the inside (destroy shield generator, defense terminals, raid the bridge, kill enemies, etc.)

Judging by how dice had the chance to include that and declined, I doubt they'd go all the swbf2 way. Although it would be cool if they did. I'd almost go as far as to say you'd just spawn in a ship, although they might have the foresight as to how stupid that would be and probably that won't happen.

Personally, anyways, it probably wouldn't be a whole ton of fun. Look at it like this: in order to get banshees and other halo vehicles to work on land maps, they have to have two things: air to ground weapons, and extreme maneuverability. In space combat, ship to ship weapons take priority, and if you have extremely maneuverable ships all your kills will come from sniping someone across the map or following a noob around really closely and blasting him with your fuel rod cannon or rockets or whatever.

Imagine swbf2 battles except with banshees. Just do it. Doesn't work. And it doesn't go around the other way as evidenced by swbf1: those maps had ships, but no space battles. And it was really hard to maneuver the ships, and there wasn't enough space because the fighters went to fast... the ships were useless and broken.

I haven't. Except the built in hud lead would be game breaking and take out all incentive to play the mode, and the mode itself would consist of sniping players too far away to be able to dodge or coming up right on noob's tails and shooting them down because they don't know how to dodge and loop.

Not really, still bad arena, and the warzone needs to have weapon spawns instead of a weapons buying system.
