Been having some performance issues. Seems like most apps and drivers and whatnot are not really optimised for it yet.

What issues are you having, I have had it for quite a while and haven't notice anything to bad, have noticed some bad FPS drops in recent games but nothing to bad and for some odd reason skype won't close have to end task it.

Seems like it was just me mass installing software and restoring my backups. I didn't play any games yet. Seems like DX12 isn't installed for some reason while me GFX card should support it.

I think DirectX 12 comes out at a date after Windows 10.

Man I love the new start menu and the taskbar too I'm so glad it's transparent again it looks SICK!

anyways I haven't had any problems well first I had a NVIDIA driver problem but it seemed to had fixed itself on its own overall windows 10 is great especially aesthetically i'ts way cleaner and more pronounced then windows 8 which looked way too bland :P

I finally got used to the tile page and now the start menu's back lol.
I will probably get Windows 10, even if only for DX10, mid next year, when all the bugs and stuff are fixed, and the free upgrade is still available. Chances are I'll have a decent computer by then too XD

My grandmother recently bought a good computer when it comes to screen size and processing power. The only problem, the fact that it was made last year, it still uses windows 7 :(
Granted, it was designed in 2011, but the thing is you would expect them to update it with recent tech when they sell the more recently manufactured ones. NNNNNOPE

Any computer that has a genuine Windows 7 Home Premium and above can upgrade to Windows 10 for free until 2016 as long as you have the proper hardware of course. Don't see why them not packaging it would be an issue.

Windows 10 is pretty good, no issues here.
Just had issues with drivers for a bit after I installed but they're gone now.

Look at the EULA. You are going to be worth hundreds to them after they suck up all of your data and find out how best to advertise to you.

Thsy already know our bloodtype and yhe size of our feet back to W7. Nothibg changed about that, althey did is admit it. Their reason they want everyone to upgrade is so they can drop support for W7 and W8.

I noticed so many people had problems when updating through their legit services.

I just pirated pro and I literally had 0 problems, everything worked flawlessly. .-.

If anything it's best to do it with a clean install, and not carry over.

Also, if you tell the installation to "remove files". It doesn't do a clean install. It saves everything in C:\windows.old.

The folder was freaking 550 gb for me

I'm holding off on updating until people stop talking about the bugs. I've seen some neat screenshots though.
