Okay, as we all know, halo master chief collection is coming out in November and those of you who know me, know i love to forge, nearly all i do, and because we have forge in halo MCC and at the very least we have forge island so i can make something, i need ideas for new maps, ive made all sorts of map and game modes etc but wanna know what sort of maps you want, if there's some which i don't think will be possible on the MCC cos we really don't know what the forge will be like (assuming it'll be the same as originals), i might not be able to make it, doesn't mean i wont but probs means ill save it for H5 as that forge will be a huge improvement so yeah, give me scenarios, could be forest, run down street, war torn street, warehouse, docks, anything! The questions I have about forge in mcc are:
Will Halo 3 forge have Halo 4 abilities? (magnets, locking, rotation snapping)
Will Halo 2 forge have those?

Unfortunately I'm guessing no for the first but yes for the second.

Biped gun in a console halo would be so awesome.

I think forge should have the ability to create firefight and singleplayer maps.
It should have enemy placement akin to disney infinity (lol I sound like a 6 year old. btw that game sucks for the record. No camera controls on a wii controller, and all the cars have terrible handling.) but with a switch to toggle enemy's AI on and off like in gmod.

Firefight would just be placing drop zones and drops themselves.

This idea is mostly inspired by H:OWaW. If you haven't heard of it or played it, go google it and get the latest demo (from multiple years ago.) Their forge lets you place enemies.

Ok, can you make a map that's good for slayer but basically is a huge shitfight when played with BTB... basically something good for 4v4 but just plain ridiculous and lots of fun for 16+... I'd love that :D

Erm yeah that would be pretty easy :P I'd have to make it so one has lots of vehicles and one that has hardly any but yeah that should be easy, any idea of sort of map and what game?
City, ancient ruins, forest etc?

Lets think about this. Can you place ancient ruins themed items in H3? City items? Forest items?

I'm going to say H2 because no one liked H4.

I can do good ruins and war zones in halo 3
Forest and forerunner style bases and city ruins in halo 4
And not sure on H2A tbh :P assuming some trees, rocks, etc similar to H4

I doubt they'd make an entirely new set of pieces. Probably just make subtle modifications to the ones from 4.

Yeah exactly, really depends on the maps cos I can't forge well on set maps say like on Valhalla, had to be blank like sandbox, forge island, forge world etc

Haha, i didnt like halo 4 forge, it was a huge disappointment after Reach where i made 9 map packs, at least 3 maps per map pack, some up to 5, so thats alot of finalized maps and halo 4 i gave up after the first or second map pack xD

And yeah, the guy that pushes this back on topic ;)
Seems perfectly do able to me, basically you want tank and hog warfare? :P If so i have a nice idea for it including 2 bases with shields and a hanger and as soon as you go out the only place you can go is in the oppositions base to blow it up which is the objective and in the hangers will be tanks, hogs etc, as soon as you get out of the vehicle you slowly die but there will be certain safe bits across the map with shields which is infantry safe but you only have the 10 seconds to get to them and there will only be grenades and stuff in there, at each base will be towers with shields, in the towers can be a soldier and if you shoot the shield down it then reveals a coil which you then shoot and blows up the whole tower inside :) Thas my idea for that kind of map, sort of thing you we're thinking of or not?

Pretty much... :P im hopping there going to increase the limit on how many per item we can have, this will be on halo 4 im afraid cos it wouldnt be practically possible in H3 cos it wouldnt be flat or anything but if i do it on Forge island on the biggest one then i should be able to do it :)

Yeah I hope so too I mean the xbox one is pretty tough compared to the 360 so I hope the budget gets increased that would be amazing

Well its supposed to be 8x more powerful, it should be able to handle it! main reason is cos i want more trees... :P Love me trees and rocks i do, hopefully then i can make one of my maps (only descent one on H4) alot bigger!
