Re: Contingency: Behind the scenes
Calling it Valhalla would mean you're referring to the h3 map, which our map is based off of.
In other words, yes, triggered. However, to make it a bit more niche, #Primary Triggered

Hang on, will the third person Spartan model be planned to be as "low-poly" <- right word? as the current one shown?

As it stands we can probably mess around and change the polygon density. There's a lot more edge loops that are attributed to the arms than are needed, whereas some other locations such as the legs torso and the underarms could definitely go for a boost. Right now the physics asset display is more indicative of what the model looks like, but since a lot of the body is going to be covered with armor, you don't necessarily need to have a massive amount of polygons to make it look good.

Really cool, love the models, sad to see that you guys left cryengine than I recall horrible memories and than I saw a lot of bugs in there I know why lol.

Re: Contingency: Behind the scenes
There's only two things I can legitimately say I miss from cryengine
1. Solid melee (albeit buggy)
2. The racetrack and jeep shenanigans
The latter of the two was the most therapeutic thing to do after not getting shit done for forever. Seriously, after a million things broke, that was like the ONLY thing that could never break because nothing in there (except for the warthogs) could be broken by monte. That continued to be the case ONLY up until he messed with the player's stuff (which is why in the stream we couldn't play)

Re: Contingency: Behind the scenes
There is no real reason for us to do a custom UE4 build, as for Coconut Lizard. All their code usually ends up in the main builds anyway.
