Contingency: Behind the scenes
Really it's just a collection of portfolio work done by the team members for the game, but here's something if anyone feels interested.

Which, Hydroplant or Arcadia?

Hydroplant is actually already in the works. However Arcadia was lost quite some time ago. I don't know if you can tell or not, but the "Concept art" for arcadia is actually just draw-overs of stuff that was already built in CryEngine, most of it from our ex-concept artist Marcello "Jim Tomatoes" (I never did have the honor of learning his name).
However, I would love to make arcadia a thing again, but the sheer size of it is...daunting to say the least.

HUDs are pretty cool but I think their should be an option to have a minimal HUD like Reach / CE.

Is Arcadia the one whith bridges? If it is, damm.. it's a shame it was lost, it looks realy cool

Reach hardly had a minimalistic HUD. However CE did. Reach was an example of a middleground between the one you have now and CE; personally I like CE / H2's the most.

Could you allow the HUD Design to be customized as well? Like have the same basic format where the locations of the radar, ammo, and grenades are; but allow the extra border-lines to be changed? You see the differance in Halo 3, 4, 5: G, and ODST with their HUDs showing the borders of the Visor where it meets the helmet, and some of the creases on the Visor itself.

First comment on this site for me, been watching for years though. I'm happy to see that it's still up and running and i love what you guys are doing, keep up the awesome work.

I love seeing progress of this game, HUD is 10/10 IMO, altho that's a lot of plasma granades (Im guessing that's a plasma granade icon in the corner :)

We haven't decided on alternate grenade types (if we intend to include them). Those are there mainly for placeholder.

HUD and Menus look so clean, love it. Menu looks really good, unsure how I feel about the Valhalla background lol
