Re: Beautiful day, eh?
I'm just sitting here imagining the beauty that could be Halo 3 on PC.

Exactly. I don't have a better word for mechanical but imo reach was too gritty to be a main Master Chief entry (good thing it was somewhere between sequel and spinoff) and H4 is just too shiny in general. Halo 3 is visually the best, except for those rather blocky models.DatGuyYouKnow wrote:... halo 3 was my favorite look of the halo series, everything know just looks too mechanical? is that the word im looking for idk. Halo 3 provided a bit of a fantasy/cartoony look that still pulled off a gritty feel.

Reach and CE have my fave art styles; CE is all colourful as if you're going on your first adventure and lightning / lack of colour is used appropriately. Reach everything is depressing.

Re: Beautiful day, eh?
I feel like 3 did the same thing, just better. Reach's art style was appropriate for the game and I feel like it was H4 done correctly. They were probably aiming for a lighter feel off of reach's almost-steampunk weapons and vehicles.

4 suffered terrible Texture compressions everything looks sharp and harsh IMO

I am just saying this right now to anyone on this post, or anyone who is reading this. That the Fallout Series of games IS THE MOST addictive shit you will ever play. Literally. It is also THE MOST polished, clean, well-rounded series of games in terms of Storyline, Voice-acting and Combat.
Sure yeah, the Path-finding isn't that great or it can feel a little bit clunky sometimes but its DEFINITELY worth it. I mean when I was like what 13-14 one of my friends played alot, and I was like "You fucktard, get on Halo Reach now" or something like that. I always like that, until I eventually tried it.
And after that, I was like "wow". Why have I never tried this before? So just take this into consideration if you're still a bit undecided as to whether to try the Fallout Series or not.

Get an Xbox 360 at game room. They are within a range of $80 to $170.

Can't run fallout 3? Made in 2008? Or Fallout: NV which isn't much newer?Heatguts wrote:

The fucking AI, I swear. One time I dropped down from a small cliff that was about 3 inches off the ground and walked a good distance. Turned around and fucking Korean cuisine (Dogmeat) was losing his shit and didn't know how to walk around said cliff.Ripr Moramee wrote:I am just saying this right now to anyone on this post, or anyone who is reading this. Well besides the rather large notice about not being optimized for windows 8 I literally meet the minimum system requirements. I have a 2.4 ghz processor and according to some website my intel hd 3000 gfx is about equal to (7% better than) the absolute minimum nvidia card. I have 2gbs of ram so I exceed there.Senjin wrote:Can't run fallout 3? Made in 2008? Or Fallout: NV which isn't much newer?Heatguts wrote:

Wait, nvmd. the card I was comparing to was on the list of supported chipsets. I don't see any intel gfx cards on that list.
You see my point tho. Better than I thought, but I still doubt I'd run it well.
