Re: Halo5 Sprint.
Hey, I prefer Halo 300% with no sprint but, as 343i has already sent their mind on sprint I thought I'd give a different twist on it...
But, great job forum users, my one reference to CS:GO has made you all cry and lose your minds, I never once said I wanted a 'Sci-fi CS:GO' all I did was take the knife mechanic and implement it into Halo. But, hey, if you guys want to overlook everything I said and pull a tantrum because I mentioned CS, go ahead.
~PS: CS:GO is extremely balanced, if you could point out what is equipment / gun is unbalanced, go ahead.

Re: Halo5 Sprint.
Hmm. I got a better idea.
No sprint.
Like how Bungie's Halo does it. Just how we (at least most of us) like it.

Re: Halo5 Sprint.
The real question here should be.
Will sprint in Project Contingency disable your shields like in Halo 5?!

Re: Halo5 Sprint.
Instead of focusing on the bad stuff, what additions did 343 do that were all around GOOD?
Misriah Armory
Re: Halo5 Sprint.
They used something called Control Maps, which work very similarly to Halo 1's Multipurpose maps. TLDR they took what was multiple textures and stuffed them into one. Saved a ton of space and made controlling the way the engine handled materials far more efficient and allowed memory to be freed up from those processes

Re: Halo5 Sprint.
Best Halo 5 addition by 343i so far: Turning down the aim-assist. That's it. The Doom / Quake speedrunning community is more competitively viable than this piece of shit arena shooter.
