Yiss! I can finally bring all my cone related dreams to life!
I've always loved low poly work, it carries a minimalistic art feel to me.

I haven't 3D modeled in a long long time, but baking is still high poly textures put into low poly right?

Re: FINALY COMPLETE 3D MODELING WORKFLOW TUTORIAL !
So wait, let me get this straight...
Low poly is the thing you make, high poly is a more detailed, extra polygon version of the same thing, and baking is editing the textures from the high poly to make the low poly look like the high poly?
Man, I always assumed these terms meant things that were much more complicated than that... -_-

Yup, though for more complex objects the workflow is usually blockout first, then high poly, then low poly.
Now that I think about it, a traffic cone might not have been the ideal model for a tutorial. Texturing that would be relatively easy as traffic cones barely have edgewear and scratches.

Sometimes I get the feeling this threads main point has been missed. XDmmorpg4free wrote:CONES CONFIRMED IN P.C.

its depend of the artist some artis have some difficulty to make an low poly and add detail after . because make your start model as a low poly is more difficult than just reduce the poly count of your high poly . also this is not the most difficult model . but im sure there is not a lot of 3d artist on the forum so if you show something to hard to a beginers he just goint to give up . so they need to start with easy thing but learn right ;)

Those aren't tutorials. Those are sped up videos of you just making things.
I really can't see what you're doing with that.
Maybe you should just commentate as you make this stuff, and record the whole thing. People could more easily follow your steps and replicate things.
