Map Remakes Empty Map Remakes

Just wondering how you guys will do map remakes. Will you stick to the original map design and just repaint it with better graphics and hitboxes, will you do remakes that have slight edits or additions making them a bit larger (Kinda like how Blood Gulch turned into Coagulation by merely adding basements to the bases), or will you do a little bit of both and simply make it so you have the original map remastered as well as variants to add your own parts to expand the map slightly?

This would belong in the Questions section, but I would suggest you go with the third option. Because it would satisfy the most players. Some people prefer Bloodline over Blood Gulch, even though they are pretty much the same. If you include some classic maps, you should include other variations of said map. Granted, that would mean more work, but it can be easy with some maps. Such as how if you recreated Blood Gulch in Contingency, just take the saved file and edit it. Saving the edits as an alternate map would take up more data, but take less time than to recreate the map from scratch. Now that I have typed that out, it sounds like common sense. But then again, a lot of people in this world lacks that trait.

Pretty sure we want to avoid remakes as much as possble. Cardinal and asgard just happened to be and as a result we're going to change them heavily when the time is right to do so.
