Able to run this shit in 4K?

Just wondering. When you eventually release this game into a playable state. Will you be able to run it in 4K? I have some idea of how game development is but do you have to specifically make new textures/assets just for 4K or is 4K resolution just an upscale from 1440p?

I really really hope your game does not do what Skyrim, Fallout and GTA have done. No matter how much you fiddle around with settings the Rock and tree's always look garbage. Like you run right up to it expecting a HD looking tree and BOOM welp there ya go 480p piece of shit. Its annoying. Maybe I am requesting too much, the only thing I could do for a game is Voice acting ahahaha even then you need to record thousands of pieces of dialogue.

The quality of the individual assets are not determined by the resolution itself. And honestly what kind of NASA PC do you have making you expect you can run this on 4k?

Just 2 R9 295x2's in Crossfire OR quad crossfire if you want to be technical ;)

Ideally you can supersample for 4k, but until we figure out a good way to set that up we'll give you a solid "maybe"

Ay, just keep on eye out on ebay. Sometimes its less busy, and that's when you get bidding stuff real cheap ;) For instance, nobody bidded on one of my R9 295x2's so I got it for £10 ahahaha.

I've kinda just played around with Crysis 3 and the Cryengine to see performance wise and I wouldn't be able to run it at 4k, 2k maybe but I'm running a i7 4790k and dual R9 390s 8GBs, I can run it fine on ultra 1080p at 60fps and more but it does dip sometimes into the 40's so 4K may be a stretch for me

Resolution is the real killer. If I want to reach 60FPS I have to play at 720p.
