I've been wanting to get into digital painting for a while, so I recently made an investment into a wacom cintiq...

I honestly have to say I like it, the people of this forum like to try to rage on it because it's a halo 4 design. You know 343 is not these guys' favorite subject matter. But on a good Job!!

In my opinion... I think that the neck is a bit to wide and that's why the head appears to be too small but.. I'll reconsider the size of the head itself... Thanks for the Input!

It looks rather nice though it has some odd proportion issues here and there.
One thing though when you make concept art is that you want to show the entirety of what your concept is. With how this is made it fits more under fan art. Just a little nitpick.

After thinking about it for a while you could be talking about your progress as the concept itself. Ignore the above if true.

Thanks! I'll take note of your advice... yeah... looking at it now I can see some of its major flaws... I'll try to be more careful in the future! :)
(Still getting used to drawing with a tablet... feels different.)

I was also able to start a Mudbox sculpt today on one of my characters... It's still a WIP so any input is appreciated

This newer art kinda reminds me of Mass Effect or something... Either way, 343 is going to be knocking down your door with a contract that will give you money just so they can put that in Halo Online and Halo 5 Guardians as an Update or DLC armor.

Not really, he made the undersuit part of the armour. As of Halo 4 the undersuit and armour pieces are separate meshes. Plus, I don't even know if they're sculpting the Spartan armours or not. I know the Halo wars Mjolnir MK4 was not sculpted.

Actually, I wasn't intending for the character to be a spartan... Only a random test of my ability to sculpt... It simply came off the top of my head... I used no reference images or concept art... However thanks for that info about the creation process of the suits of armor... That's the work I aim to be doing in the future :)

Yeah!... My steam name is 4everunited98 add me! I usually play Terran Republic on Conery US West, However I have a New Conglomerate Character on the Aussie server for whenever I'm in Asia or overseas... Don't use him as much though... I tend to travel alot lol....
