But I totally get it, water is better left off as a player hazard for gameplay reasons. I was just thinking out loud about the whole hover thing.

Pressure of space can be mitigated easier because its outwards pressure, not inwards.

Also, if I recall correctly, there was something inherently wrong with the setup of the map which caused it to break. The map was the max heightmap resolution (4096 square meters) but the playable area was much smaller than it should have been as well. Its unfortunate too because during one of our early playtests of the map, I ended up climbing to the top of the mountain on foot, and we decided we'd make an achievement out of that. However, we still have the assets from that map and the original design scheme, so we can rework the map if need be.
