Firstly, to any Muslims in the forums, Ramadan Mubarak.

Secondly, this would be more of a courtesy thing here. Since it is Ramadan, I'm going to just really politely ask that (just for now) you people could tone down any sort of profanity you may be using and be a bit kinder towards everyone. Generally speaking you guys do a good job of that already but it doesn't help to put a friendly reminder there.

In my 12 and a half years of education, I never learned, nor was taught, a single shred about any religions.
I didnt even do any history till Year 8, which was about aussie settlement, and year 11/12, about WW2 and people being generally horrible to each other... :S

I managed to avoid religion because every teacher I had was a nice one until 8th grade when I got one that was also super religious. Everything we did had a religious connection, every book she read was religious (and she was glad to tell us about them all), and the one movie we watched was religious propaganda.
