[quote="Jaing"]Planetside 2 Max Settings or..
not really They say Planet side 2 runs on max settings 1080p on the PS4 at a steady 30fps that sometime goes to 60
1080p max settings gaming aint that expensive
High end is when you have Dua or quad 780'sti running 4k or someshit also I'm pretty sure half of us play on a freakin laptop dont try to hide it I know

I do. My specs suck nads.
That's why I play Halo: CE. Where today's low-end specs are above the recommended requirements.

Re: How Good can Halo Custom Edition look?
Here is a cheap and energy efficient rig I came up with to combat the clunky hot stereotype of us:
*Core i5-4430 - not overclockable but pretty good for the price ; Price: $184 ; Wattage: 84 watts max
http://www.amazon.com/Intel-i5-4430-Quad-Core-Desktop-Processor/dp/B00CO8T9VC
*GTX-750 TI Superclocked - only uses up to 60 watts and can run Battlefield 4 in ultra at 30+ FPS 1080p; Price:$150
http://www.amazon.com/EVGA-Superclock-Dual-Link-Graphics-02G-P4-3753-KR/dp/B00IDG3IDO/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1403139204&sr=8-1&keywords=gtx+750+ti
*MSI Z87 motherboard - allows for quad channel memory(RAM) and has PCI express port, 6 SATA ports. ; Price:$109
http://www.amazon.com/MSI-Motherboard-Motherboards-Z87-G41-MATE/dp/B00D12OBEA/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1403139422&sr=8-4&keywords=z87+motherboard
*any 8 gb of RAM set: $40
*500 watt power supply:$100
http://www.amazon.com/Corsair-Certified-Compatible-Platforms-CMPSU-600CXV2/dp/B004W2T2UQ/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1403139666&sr=8-1&keywords=550+watt+psu
*Any HDD: spare or buy 1TB for $80
*Peripherals(Screen, headset, OS, case):$100-300 or use an old screen and use an old Windows key or Linux(not Ubuntu) and either build your own case, reuse one, buy another one
Total:$570+
Notes: I just put this up to show you how cheap it is to get a custom build for some decent gaming, a pre-built with these specs would cost you around $1000, here are some with even lower specs at higher prices than this:
*This one is pricier than the one that I have up, with no peripherals, terribly outdated specs:$600+
http://www.shopping.hp.com/en_US/home-office/-/products/Desktops/HP-ENVY/F3D82AA?HP-ENVY-700-210-Desktop-PC
*Here is a one with the same CPU as mine, no peripherals, no graphics card:$600+
http://www.dell.com/us/p/xps-8700/pd?oc=fdcwgs101r&model_id=xps-8700
*Another entry-level one with an i5 and no peripherals and no graphics card:$760+

You forgot that.
Also, back on topic, I play on a VAIO S [Laptop]
CPU: i7 3520M 2.9 GHz 2-Core
GPU: Nvidia GT640MLE
RAM: 4GB DDR3
Not that good, but surprisingly I can run C3, decent graphics at 40-50 FPS.

Re: How Good can Halo Custom Edition look?
Who knows. You would think it would have told me the key was invalid when I installed the game.
I can still join internet games though.

I do occasionally. But I like to play custom maps, with a ping of below 150 or so. That's like 12 servers for me, and usually 10 of them are completely empty.Jaing wrote:Wait.. So my overlord killed me.. why?

I make maps, and test them. That's what ce is to me.
