Password recovery stuff

So I got a new laptop and it's fan shat itself like 2 months later, but warranty is a thing and JB Hifi swapped me a new identical laptop on the spot for free, so that was a nice and quick solution.
Anyway, went to sign in here, didnt have password saved since it's a clean new laptop, went through my handfull of passwords and none work. It ended up I spelt the correct one wrong that time I tested it, but my issue was that the recovery system is broken and I thought you all ought to know. I know that's not your fault - it's forumotion + you're redoing the website anyway so meh, but this was what happened to me just now.

1. requested password recovery.
2. Recieved email with 'click here to activate new password' part.
3. Clicked it.
4. Takes ages to load, randomly loads hella clickbaity looking 'download HD Videos' page.
5. nope.avi
6. close tab, click link in email again.
7. redirects to facebook.
8. unsure of whats going on, check new password works.
9. fails.
10. request second email.
11. click link.
12. redirects to less clickbaity continue arrow button, which I assume might have been what was meant to originally happen.
13. nothing happens, inspect element, the button link is broken.
14. try old passwords again, find the right one again.

Dont lose your password here, the recovery system may be buggered.
