Not Destined To Be
When Destiny first came out, I barely got to play it when my sibling broke the disc by doing the the most satanic thing possible : Leaving the disc out to be scratched when they swapped the games with Lego Star Wars III. Just recently, I went to the library and noticed they have Destiny: The Taken King. I place a hold, wait a couple of weeks for someone else to stop using it and return it. I put it in the Xbox and it says an update is required. Okay. Then Content Packs start downloading. Kay, 5 GB of data on what I presume to be the Taken King stuff. Then the Xbox starts randomly installing 7 of the twelve compatability upgrades. My device is now full, and I only own "20 GB" Hard Drives. I am not destined to play destiny until I get a job and can afford the more expensive Hard Drive. Needless to say, I am pissed. Oh well, such is life. Let the comments start off below.

Yeah, you can buy external hard drives for about the same price as regular hard drives, these days. 1 TB will cost you $50-60. You might want to get one with a dedicated power source, rather than one that runs of USB power. It would be better if it only used up one USB port, and it should perform a little better.

Do what normal siblings do.
Tell them to put them in the cases, with threats of a**-whooping if they don't.
People who cbf putting discs in cases are animals.

I know this is after the event, but why leave discs in machines that you KNOW will be used by others, I mean its your stuff, I hope in future you will have learned an important lesson, ie; No-one gives a crap about your stuff so why don't you protect it by putting it away? Adults will generally be more sympathetic if they can see you took measures to protect your stuff. I expect when you have worked to get your new storage, you will adopt this outlook quickly.

- @General_101 & JaggyNos:
- You seem to imply that I have money. I am unemployed and only get cash as an unexpected gift from family and friends. I don't blame you for not knowing that tho.
- @Stevedoggen:
- I try, I try. But, keep in mind these two are pretty much EXACTLY LIKE ME. You kinda get the picture since on this Forum, I have shown who I am pretty well : A guy who liks to persist at times on a subject. + they don't listen to anyone and are spoiled little brats who SCREAM at the top of their lungs if things don't go their way. And no matter how many times I manage to get my word in an tell them off, they go back and do it again within the week. Pesky siblings of mine.
- @Deadmeat:
- My gaming equipment is in my room, usually under lock and key. The Family's games are in the game room across the house. However, we used to have to bunk together at my old house. The only reason that I left a game in the system was when I got up to help out for a couple of moments, or if I had to visit the toilet. During that brief moment, my little brothers thought I was done playing and would eject the game and leave it out, while they play another game. At least they wouldn't play my game I had paused and ruin my Xbox Live Stats.
Hooray! I'm posting my basic problems on the internet like every other normal person!
but not on Facebook or Twitter. So am I normal?

Since when do libraries carry video games? Since when do people under the age of sixty go to libraries? The times they are a-changin'.

Libraries have carried video games (so long as the ERSB and/or PEGI ratings are below Mature) for many years now
Anyone who needs convenient resources goes to a library, including people who go to college/university.

I used to go to the library all the time, but the two or three libraries I fully explored didn't have a single video game of any kind.

My library didn't even have proper books in it and yours... :|Stevedoggen wrote:My highschools library had ps3 games.

They were educational ones though IIRC. AKA the ones nobody would ever touch anyway.

I find it crazy that Halo 5 takes so much space up. You would think MCC, but it's still pretty crazy.

Well to be fair I haven't been to a library since I was five not including the time I went there for some really corny anime expo when I was fifteen but I don't count that as I was only there for a few minutes before I realized I had made a horrible mistake and hightailed it out of there.R93_Sniper wrote:Lordpyromon wrote:Since when do libraries carry video games?
