I wonder if we could put Project: Drop's Demo Campaign on Custom Edition?
I guess it would be easier that to totally start from scratch since Custom Edition already has assets that would save us time on coding. Then we could get feedback and see what we would need to change for Project: Drop. I guess it would be an efficient use of our development time for the Demo.

Any particular reason you're posting what you think rather than keeping it to yourself? No offense but the more you talk about a project that you've only concepted, the less anyone will care about it until it becomes nothing more than a pestering nuisance.

@Steve it's more that none of us really wanna do CE3 anymore. Even with HMUs, we've been getting less and less content to work with, so its hard to consistently work on a community driven show when the community isn't really giving you anything in the first place.

Yeah, I was about to say, there's no way that was in the Blam Engine, hell no.

The Assault Rifle is... odd looking. Mostly the ammo counter, but it feels off overall.

Enjoyed the show a lot. Good to see all these projects coming along. Kind of wish I could play some of the multiplayer maps though, I kind of doubt it'll be easy to find servers running them for very long and I don't have any irl friends with H:CE so...

I also enjoyed your bit, R93. I'd definitely play it if I could scrape the people together. I do have to ask though, why'd you go with the modern weapons tagset? There's certainly nothing wrong with it but it's an interesting choice. I haven't seen any maps featuring modern weapons other than that desert ambush map or something like that.

Modern weapons came about because the person who did 90% of the animations (and taught me to animate, actually) did a ton of modern weapons out of boredom. I was mainly in charge of implementing the stuff he animated and we went from there. Eventually we had amassed a rather large tagset and decided to work on maps instead.

Back in 2013 or 2014 I believe, we did Project Revelation which consisted of 3 maps (Gun Range, Dreamtrap, And I believe the third one was called Cliffedge), and I basically thought it'd be better to clean up dreamtrap as a final project type deal. Out of the three, Dreamtrap had the most potential for gameplay expansion, but met with a weird stalemate in the center of the map. It resulted in me having to expand the map and constantly change how it played before I could settle on something that worked the way I wanted it to. It works pretty well now, though vehicles seem to be slightly more under-utilized than I had anticipated as a result.

I also have all the Betas from building dreamtrap, as well as the original version. So i'll be gathering them and placing them on my halomaps thread.

Too be honest, it feels like halo ce is getting more content lately, the first years that I followed halomaps was really silent, and 2015 feels really blank compared to 2016
