What are we allowed to donate?

So I know we cannot donate money, but am I allowed to donate like free hosting of the website?

Because we don't want to give somebody at Microsoft any reason to shut this down. No form of profit is allowed, and donating other things likely wouldn't be either. No need to draw their attention regardless.

Damn it's gonna be really expensive to keep servers running for playing then :O
Or are you gonna make it so we host our own servers?

It's actually a little more complicated than that, and there's a little more to it than that. But either way, we can't take donations.

hmm okay, so if the community wanted to donate a server for the game to running we would actually have to join the dev team, so it isn't an donation?

What are you even trying to point out? Also it wouldn't. As a dev team you all pull in your resources and use them for your project. If someone just happen to "own a server" then it won't matter. This game will more then likely run minecraft style with people setting up dedicated servers and posting IPs on youtube channels anyone so what are you even trying to discuss.

I am just trying to find out how the rules are, and what we can do to help.
