Due Process. An indie in alpha... Empty Due Process. An indie in alpha...

So I saw in my YouTube feed this fantastic new tactical shooter that is in "alpha as ****" stage. It's based on the ol' tactical shooters like SWAT and rainbow 6... man, I wish there more games like this....

Anyone have any favorite indie games they are looking forward to? Heat signature is looking pretty interesting.

Yeah, theres this one called Project Contingency. It's based on Halo, and the devs are trying to make it true to the more original titles in the series.

That does look pretty cool though.

Well it looks like they are going with more detailed models on their Facebook at least. I hope they don't keep any of the blocky models and go for more detailed models and textures when the game is complete. Other than that the gameplay looks all right. Still waiting for that Star Citizen game to be completed. Need to upgrade my computer for that though.

@Heatguts,
Whoa! You're right, hold on I'm going to make a profile there... hmm maybe ill name it Senjin.

@General_101,
It's supposed to be based off of Dredd I think? To fit a brutal invasive police force. I'll miss the blocky dudes though, it was a nice quirk and the Assault rifles reminded me the XCOM: EU rifles... (horrible, horrible memories of ironman impossible attempts ending in me crying myself to sleep).
Star citizen looks like way too much for my pc :'( .

I would be looking forward to it, except they have 1 good survival map and that's it.

Also since the update that map got x10 times harder because you can only starting run up to 500 or so voltz instead of 900-1000.

Cobalt by Mojang? I don't know if you can consider that indie. It looks like it'd be a lot of fun with lots of players, but down with smaller numbers it'd get pretty hardcore with crazy tactics.

Just because Mojang got lucky with Minecraft doesn't mean they aren't indie. :P

Indie doesnt mean shitty
it means independent

like for example Borderlands 2 is an Indie game
cause its made by independent developers

You got the completely wrong idea from my post. The question wasn't the quality but the numbers. Senjins post said that he wasn't sure if you could consider Mojang indie. I assumed he meant due to money since a normal indie is usually not very well known or not backed by a lot of funds. I'm not even sure where you got the idea that I meant shit=indie.
Edit: Even more misinformation from you this time it seems. Indie like you said means independent but Borderlands has a publisher and its name is 2K Games. Indie games commonly or actually all the time have no need for a publisher

You should read the book on minecraft and mojang, it really shows the story behind minecraft and mojang and the reason why Markus quit mojang

And why did Markus quit mojang?

So I don't have to shell out cash for one sentence of information.
