A Public Service Announcement

It was recently brought to our attention that a few images were "leaked" from our project by an internal member, and had the 343I logo slapped onto them to pass as Halo 5 leaks. While not all of these supposed Halo 5 leaks are ours, we would like the time to point out the ones that are ours and include their original forms in this half-update. These are screenshots from a quite old build (about 10 months old to be exact), using assets that are either planned to be updated or changed completely, so nothing concrete yet. We apologize that our latest update was brought out by an unintentional leak and contains old/unused assets. We are currently investigating the situation,  at this time we do not know who had posted these images without our permission, or who tried to pass them off as halo 5 leaks. We are investigating the situation and are treating the matter very seriously.

I was annoyed we had no updates.... im slightly happier now.... those are looking great!! i just need a better computer :P looks like its going really well and you should defo use that HUD, looks amazing! keep it up guys!

Good to see the good'ol Covenant Carbine, Magnum and Jet Pack. Cannot seem to see Plasma Nades!! hopefully that will be put in, or maybe just does not have the image implemented into the HUD yet. Halo would not be the same without sticking people in the face with plasma grenades.

Considering it shows the frag grenades three times, I'm sure those are just placeholders. I would expect plasma grenades.
Also, that bottom picture. We can see something other than a grassy area now.
Of course these are still very old pictures, but the progress is nice to see.

Perhaps a more minimalistic HUD is in order? I don't expect for a suit of armor that doesn't house an AI to ajdust itself to incorporate alien grenades into its suite. Just saying.

He means that the master chief can incorporate plasma (alien) grenades because he has an ai (cortana) helping him use it, and you guys aren't using the Master Chief. And technically, it's not even a full suit of armor, it doesn't have gloves. Look at the hands. Skin.

Maybe a customizable HUD?? People have preferences to shield bar size and where the motion sensor is placed etc...

Wow! Absolutely awesome looking stuff!

The first picture really shows off the beautiful graphics. To think it will eventually be war-ravaged almost makes me sad...but hyped nonetheless.

The second picture makes me believe that you have a functional (partially, but still functional) phantom, and possibly many other vehicles are functional as well. Although, I am curious as to who is firing those turrets. Are there three separate people for each turret? Pilot controls all three? Or are there AI's firing them for you? Either way, I cant wait to fly that thing (assuming it's flyable).

Third picture looks beautiful. Carbine is one of my favorite Halo weapons, and you guys made it look good too, even the crosshairs look awesome! I noticed there was some sort of biofoam item in the bottom right corner. Is it...on a D-pad menu? It looks like it. Also noticed that there are only three grenade slots. Assuming there will be frags and plasmas, what is the third grenade? Spike or flame from Halo 3? Pulse from Halo 4? Or is there something special planned for grenade #3?

I just thought that it was a rotating aesthetic. it just has a rotating animation and to fill either side they added the grenade available. I think that a plasma and a frag is enough, I didn't really care for the other grenades in Halo 3 and Halo 4...,

Agreed. And definitely do the 4-grenade cap instead of 2.

Blasphemy! Flame grenades were awesome! I could do without the other two though, spike nades were just plasma nades with shrapnel physics, and pulse nades were kinda weak.

...Eh I don't know flame grenades had a tendency to miss, and the most likely way to get a successful kill was to hit them directly, something that plasma grenades already did... flame grenades didn't last long enough to be useful, and they didn't do so well against vehicles...

They lingered long enough to make them great for area-denial tactics. They could also be tweaked to be more effective in certain situations and last longer.

You cant be telling me that you only want frags and plasmas?
