So yeah, this thread will literally be me posting things I'd like to share with everyone on this forum and conversate on different topics; you can speak about anything you want I guess, going off-topic isn't really a factor in this thread but just keep flame to a minimum please.

Entry #1: So I found myself training my aim on CS:GO whilst listening to a lot of the old Street Fighter 2 / 3 stage themes.
I have no idea why I did so but, it's hella energising to listen to Bison's, Ryu's and Guile's stage for a good hour.





TL;DR: Bison's stage is beautiful

You play CS:GO? How is it? Most of my friends are Valve drones who can't see no flaw in our lord Gaben. From what I can see most people go full retard and spend over a hundred dollars on shitty skins. It honestly makes my "shitty free to play" senses tingle. How's the gameplay if we ignore all that?

CS:GO is far from perfect but it is the best fps at the moment (and probably will be for a long time). There is some bullshit to be had though; first of all, hitboxes are iffy, they use the same hitboxes for each player model, no matter the shape of said model so you can see the problem with that but, at the sametime, it makes each model balanced so choose your poison?

The tiny amount of RNG in it is bullshit too. There's first shot RNG which means your first shot isn't 100% accurate, now it isn't something crazy like your bullet flying off to china but, it is noticeable in a game that requires near quake-levels of accuracy, it's not fun missing the 1-shot with the Kalashnikov on somebody's head because RNG dictated for your bullet to go 3 pixels to the right of where you aimed.

Hacking is a problem. It's Valve, you get the gist (thankfully private servers from ESEA, CEVO and FaceIt have client-side/ server side anti-cheat).

I myself do not care for skins, my most expensive skin is like $15 and it was a gift, shit is dumb but, at the sametime, it has allowed the scene to grow.

TL;DR: CS:GO is the best fps around but it isn't the perfection that was 1.6.

I've personally had a lot of family who have been killed overseas (and I mean as civilian casualties, not combatant kills) and that's been quite the recent thing. Can't say I'm inclined to disagree with mootjuh's statement

A, they are really stupid. Especially at the beginning. They thought our tanks were wooden due to them being faster than the Cold War Era tanks they had. They also thought we were vampires, since we could get shot and jump back up (kevlar) and the fact we could see in the dark with our green glowing eyes (night vision). And B, he isn't fighting anymore. Back problems forced him to retire early. So YAY he's home, and Aww, one less soldier out there to stop this madness.

I highly doubt it, considering that the original Al-Qaeda fought against the russians in the 80s in Afghanistan, I doubt they'd be so surprised at that technology but, if that's what you've said then, fair enough.

Im just saying what my uncle said. He is a Primary Source (meaning direct and reliable).
